Amago are a Murcia-based trio blending singer-songwriter material, folk touches and indie rock.
Book Amago for concerts and events
Amago are a trio from Murcia whose sound brings together singer-songwriter music, folk touches and indie rock. Vocals and guitars, bass and keyboards, and drums shape a live set built around gentle melodies and instrumental passages.
What the live show offers
The set draws on songs from the band’s albums, alongside a few covers. Keyboards and layered sounds are central to the arrangement, while the lyrics leave room for interpretation. Their influences include the sounds of the 1980s as well as Radiohead, Neil Young, Nick Drake and Pink Floyd.
Agustín Ernesto Martínez sings and plays guitar; Stefano Franzosi plays bass, keyboards and backing vocals; and Carlos Vilcherrez is on drums. Amago have released Pulsión Operante (2014), La piel callada (2018) and Hacia el bosque (2023). They have played venues, theatres and festivals across Spain, and were runners-up in the public vote at Talentosos Murcia and finalists in Bruja Pop.
Events that suit Amago
The band can suit festivals, venue and theatre concerts, and events looking for live indie music. For a wedding or private celebration, ask about the format and sound requirements. Their technical setup calls for backline, channels for vocals and instruments, drum miking and standard lighting; a sound technician and instrument sound reinforcement are included.
