Alex O’Dogherty brings together acting, stand-up, music and presenting, with work across theatre, film, television and radio.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Alex O’Dogherty is an actor, stand-up comedian, musician and presenter, with a career spanning theatre, film, television and radio. He also sings and composes, and has hosted galas and events, so his appearance can be shaped around different formats and the needs of the occasion.
His stage credits include «La jácara», «Y tú, ¿de qué te ríes?», «The Hole» and «Mi Imaginación y Yo». «Y tú, ¿de qué te ríes?» was his first solo show. In music, he founded Banda de la María in 1997 and has written music for theatre productions and film soundtracks.
His television work includes series such as «Los hombres de Paco», «Doctor Mateo», «Aída», «Aquí no hay quien viva», «El Comisario» and «Camera Café». He has also appeared in films including «El Factor Pilgrim», «Los Managers» and «Mortadelo y Filemón». As a presenter, he has hosted the Seminci film festival in Valladolid twice, as well as other events.
His experience may suit corporate events, private celebrations and cultural programmes looking for a presenter, a comedy set or a theatre performance. The format can be discussed around the event’s aims.
