A charanga for street parades and celebrations, playing pasodobles, marches and pop and rock arrangements.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Founded in 2005, El Barrejat is a musical group with experience in public festivities and street events. Its 16 musicians perform as a charanga, bringing live music to processions and celebrations.
The group arranges its musical parts to keep the different voices and harmonies in balance. Its format suits both moving events and occasions where live music helps set the mood.
The repertoire features pasodobles and parade music, Moorish and Christian marches, processional marches, mambos, and charanga arrangements of pop and rock.
El Barrejat can accompany street parades, Moors and Christians entrances, processions, Fallas events and other festivities. The group has taken part in Moors and Christians entrances for over six years and has ten years' experience with street parades and Fallas events. In 2015 and 2016, it accompanied the La Mercé falla in València.
